Brendan Tynan Davey
Solicitor Principal
Brendan Tynan-Davey is an intuitive and results-oriented leader with expertise in establishing, implementing, and improving legal strategies, negotiating and drafting contracts and deals, developing company governance structures and strategies to respond to the ever-changing legal and regulatory landscapes. Brendan has extensive experience advising on high-value, multi-party contractual negotiations and transactions, including due diligence for high-value investments and commercial agreements.
Brendan is known for strong business acumen, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, taking a human-centered approach to influence key stakeholders and successfully partner to meet operational expectations. Brendan’s vast experience with large law firms, then as in-house counsel and Head of Legal for multiple large businesses and Super funds have taught him to think outside the box and to be adaptable.
Brendan enjoys participating in and watching both Rugby Union and Outrigger Canoeing, with him serving as current President of the Cronulla Outrigger Canoe Club and was previously a Director of the Southern Districts Rugby Club. In his free time, Brendan enjoys travelling with his wife and three children, revels in the coaching of his children at the Sylvania Bulldogs Rugby Club and listening to music.

With over 50 years of experience in Commercial, Government & Retail Property & Portfolio Management, Leasing and Sales, Wayne has brought his wealth of Property & Real Estate experience to Tynan Davey following his admission as a solicitor. In addition to his seasoned Real Estate career, Wayne has significant experience in commercial contracts and dispute management and is a certified mediator with the Australian Disputes Centre.
When he’s not in the office, Wayne enjoys spending time with his wife farming cattle, alpacas and fruit, and doting on his ever expanding tribe of grandchildren. Wayne particularly enjoys supporting his grandchildren in their sporting and artistic endeavours, by cheering them on across the country in Rugby, Swimming, Athletics, Dancing, Cheerleading, Netball and Soccer.
